The Great Room
What log cabin is complete without a fireplace to take off the cool night chill where you can relax and renew after a day’s adventure in Traverse City or the Leelanau Peninsula? Our Great Room offers the Quadra-Fire wood burning fireplace in a deep plum finish, 2 overstuffed sofas, an antique upright piano from the early 1900’s, entrance to our second story balcony where you can enjoy a glass of wine from one of the local wineries and watch the amazing UpNorth sunsets. Want a little more privacy? Then take advantage of our private balcony perfect for that couple who wants some alone time.
The Loft
Guests will find a well-stocked library in our second story library loft. Sit in one of our comfy, winged-back chairs and settle in with a good book of your own or one of ours. You’ll find a wide variety of books to choose from: historical fiction to mysteries, modern thrillers to history and religion, classics to contemporary novels. Not a reader, no problem! Enjoy the game table where you can spend hours playing cards or choose from one of the board games provided for your pleasure! The second-story loft is another place to get away and enjoy the amazing views of the surrounding countryside.
